What is Two-factor Authentication?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for your account, requiring a second form of verification after your initial sign-in. This ensures that even if someone gains access to your sign-in method, they won't be able to access your account without the 2FA code.
How do I activate 2FA?
You can activate 2FA after successfully verifying identity.

For mobile app users
Tap Activate 2FA
to start
First, download an authenticator app.
We recommend using apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator
Once you have authenticator app installed, start to Setup 2FA
π Please read through all the steps before you begin to get a clear understanding of what to do.
If your authenticator app is installed on a different phone from the one you're using for the ORO app, use that phone to scan the QR code at the end of the Setup screen (as shown in the above photo).

If your authenticator app is installed on the same phone you use for ORO Bank, here is the guide for you:
Step 1: Copy the code
Step 2: Open authenticator app
Tap Add
button
Select Enter a setup key
Step 3: Enter setup key
Account name: This is for your reference only. You can enter any name.
βe.g. ORO PersonalYour key: Paste the code you copy from ORO Bank at Step 1 here
Type of key: Keep as it is (Time based)
After entering required information, tap Add
and the authenticator app will start to generate code for your ORO Bank account.
Step 4: Copy 2FA code to ORO app
Simply tap on the code row to copy the code
The authenticator app generates a new code every 30 seconds. Please keep an eye on the timer next to the code. When the time runs out, the code will turn red. Please wait for the app to generate a new code before copying it. Otherwise, you might encounter an invalid code error when pasting it into the ORO Bank app.
Step 5: Paste the 2FA code to ORO Bank and Submit to activate 2FA
Go back to ORO Bank app, at Step 5, paste the 2FA code to the input. Submit and 2FA will be activated!
Please note that:
Once 2FA is activated, it cannot be disabled to ensure your account secure,
Upon logging in to ORO Bank, you will need to enter the 2FA code. Please go to your authenticator app to get it.
For desktop users
Visit app.oro.bank
At Get started page, click Activate 2FA
to start the process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up

Step 2: Link ORO Bank account with the authenticator app
Open Authenticator app
Tap
Add

Scan a QR code
Scan the QR code from ORO Bank (as shown in the photo above). Authenticator app then generates code for your ORO Bank account.

Simply tap on the code row to copy the code

Step 4: Paste the code to ORO Bank and Activate 2FA
Can I disable 2FA after activating it?
Activating 2FA is required for all users to be able to use ORO Bank services. Therefore, you cannot disable 2FA once it is activated.
