What is Two-factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security for your account, requiring a second form of verification after your initial sign-in. This ensures that even if someone gains access to your sign-in method, they won't be able to access your account without the 2FA code.

Why should I enable 2FA on my account?

Enabling 2FA enhances the security of your account by protecting it from unauthorized access. Even if someone gains access to your Google account or email, they won't be able to access your banking account without the 2FA code.

How do I activate 2FA?

Log in to your ORO Bank account. At Home screen, click Activate 2FA to start the process

Follow the on-screen instructions to set up

Step 1: Download an authenticator app

Get an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc

Step 2: Link ORO Bank account with the authenticator app

Scan the QR code with the authenticator app

Step 3: Activate 2FA

Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app to the input field then click Activate

Can I disable 2FA after activating it?

Activating 2FA is required for all users to be able to use ORO Bank services. Therefore, you cannot disable 2FA once it is activated.

How can I contact support if I have issues with 2FA?

You can reach our support team via:

  • In-app Chat: Click on the blue button at the bottom right of the screen. If you're using mobile app, go to Settings > Support > Chat with Us.
